Begin of the divine revelation

• Waraqa bin Naufal(cousin of Mohammed wife Khadija) was a Christian who write letters/Gospel in Hebrew/Arabic and engage to support Mohhamed strongly  and after his death the divine revelation was paused for a while (Bukhari 1:3) and Mohammed was so sad that he intended to throw himself from the top of a mountain (Bukhari 91:1)
• Waraqa bin Naufal used to read the gospel in Arabic to Mohammed   (Bukhari 60:66)

Quran for Muhammed

• women offered themselves to Mohammed and Allah revealed that he can take from himself anyone, who he wishes. And Aisha said: it seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire (Muslim 17:64-65, Bukhari 65:310)
• Aisha said to Mohammed that “… your Lord hurries in pleasing you” (Bukhari 67:50)
• After the marriage with Zainab, Muhammad invites people to eat and they are slow to return home, he receives a revelation (33:53) that tells the believers not to last at home (Bukhari 79: 13, 45, 67: 98)
• Mohammed deserted his wife for one month  and received a revelation where God warned  his wife (Quran 66:4) (Bukhari 67:125)

Quran for Umar

• Allah granted 3 things to  Umar: first taking the station of Abraham as a place of Payer, second Veil for the  mothers of Believers because good and bad people visited the prophet, third others wives for the prophet if his wives don’t stop troubling him (Bukhari 65:10)
• Umar blocks the prophet to do funeral prayer for someone because he is a hypocrite and the prophet became the revelation that he has not too near the grave of Hypocrite (Bukhari 65:192-194 ) by reminding him the verse (9:80 – Allah will not forgive the hypocrites) in Quran and God reveals the verse (9:84 – Allah forbid the prophet to do funeral prayer for them)
• Umar suggested the veils for the wives of the prophets and the verses of al-Hijab was revealed (Bukhari 65:312),
•   Among the nations (Israel) some people are inspired though they are not prophets and Umar is such a person (Bukhari 62:39-40)
• Umar stopped the prophet to do funeral prayer for Abdullah bin Ubdi (bin Salul)
• The Lord has given Umar some wishes: prayer in the direction of the Kaaba, the veil for women, because they speak with bad and good men, the probabilist of divorce of the prophet with his wives and that Allah will give him better women than they. After the prophet’s wives made a common stand against him (Bukhari 8:53)
• Umar told the prophets that women should be veiled and after that, the revelation for the veil fell (Bukhari 79:14)
• Umar told the prophet that women do not respect their husbands and the Prophet gave permission to tap on them (Abudawud 12: 101) (Quran 4:34)

Quran for Muslims

• things could get prohibited because of the asking of some Muslim, who is the greatest sinner]. (Muslim 43:174-176)

Revelation from the Persia and Romans, not Allah

• I intended to prohibit cohabitation with a suckling woman until I considered that the Romans and the Persians do it without any injury being caused to their children thereby (Muslim 16:167-170)

Inspiration divine

• divine revelation to the prophets came only under the blanked of Aischa (Bukhari 62:122, 51:16, nasai 36:11-12)
• Mohammed receives the divine revelation at the age of 40, the stayed in mecca 13 years, immigrate and lived as an immigrant for 10 years and died at the age of 63 years (Bukhari 63:128)

• a Muslim said that they used to recite a verse, which resembled in length and severity to the surat Bara’at and he forgets it, exception of : “if there were two valleys full of riches, for the son of Adam …” and the surat resembled one of the Surat  Musabbihat and he has forgotten too (Muslim 12:156) (the verse of the second is not correct and there are different surat)
• The Muslims used to recite a Surah with the length of the Surah Bara’at(9)  and a another with the length of the Surah Musabbihat(29) and the narrator don’t remember about that anymore (Muslim 12:156)
• it was revealed in the Quran that ten and then 5 clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful. it is abrogated and substituted (Muslim 17:30-32, Abudawud 12:17, ibnmajah 9:98, nasai 26:112)
• Abu Bakr asked someone to collect the Quran and it remains with him and Umar (Bukhari 65:201) where is this Quran today?
• Allah revealed to Mohammed a verse informing that the killed at Bi’r Ma’una have met their Lord (they are in paradise) This verse was abrogated (and it is not in Quran, also it has been removed) (Muslim 5:381)
• Aisha said that: The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed and a tame sheep came in and ate it. (ibnmajah 9:100– good but not sahih)
• Umar is afraid that the Muslims forgot the verse of stoning and people will not stone people who committed adultery, because it is not found in the Quran. He affirms that they did recite it and the prophet did stone married adulterers, it is a duty (Bukhari 86:56*-57, 96:53, Muslim 29:21, abudawud 40:68)
• Umar said that the stoning to death was included and they used to read and to memorize that. (abudawud 40.68 )
• 3 people  rewrote the Quran manuscript and Uthman ask then that if they differ, they have to write it in the language of Quraish (Bukhari 61:16, 66:9*)
• part of the qaris (those who recite the Quran) his death during the battle of Al-Yamama, Umar / Abu Bakr fears that if it continues a large part of the Quran will be gone, => he asks Zaid to compile the Quran. Zaid says, “Why do you want to do what the prophet did not do?” Then he does it by putting together what was written on the leaves … and puts it in a manuscript that is written with Abu Bakr and then Umar ( Bukhari 93:53, 66: 8)

Memorizing

• forgiveness of some verse of Quran is caused by Allah => you have to keep reciting it because it escapes from hearts of men very faster than camel (Bukhari 66:54. 56. 63)
• M. hears someone reciting the Quran and he blessed him because he (reciter) has reminded him of some verse which he has forgotten (Bukhari 66:62*. 60. 66)   
• Qur’an it is more apt to escape from men’s minds than animals which are hobbled, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: None of you should say: I forgot such and such a verse, but he has been made to forget (Muslim 6:269-272)

Abrogation

• the Qur’an abrogates some part with the other. (Muslim 3:99)
• the Companions of the Holy Prophet followed the latest of his commands and looked upon it as one abrogating the previous ones and the most firm. (Muslim 13:113)
• Allah said: Revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten but We substitute something better or similar(Quran 2:106) (Bukhari 66:27)
• Uthman kept an abrogated verse because he will not shift anything of it from its place in the Quran. (Bukhari 65:53)

  • eating the food of the people of the book (abudawud 16:30)
  • judge them by what was revealed instead to judge or not interfere (abudawud 25:20)
  • flog those, who committed adultery with, one hundred stripes instead of Confining them to houses until death do chain them or punished them or leaving them alone if they repent and amend (abudawud 40:63)
  • no-kill a believer intentionally(otherwise hell) instead kill a person by right (nasai 37:36)

• The Prophet forbids to go to an enemy country with a copy of the Qur’an (Bukhari 56: 199)
